Pinot Nero
Trentino DOC
Pinot Nero is of French origin, but has found an ideal habitat in Trentino. Mostly cultivated in the foothills of the Municipalities of Lavis and Giovo, it reaches optimal ripeness only after remaining on the vine for quite some time. With a soft ruby red colour, the wine has an intense nose with hints of cherry and marasca cherry, with pleasant and typical base notes of wild red berries. The wine is delicate and fruity on the palate, while the fine, silky tannins add a full and pleasantly enduring flavour.
