Sustainable Mountain Viticulture: Our Commitment to Trentino’s Future

At Cantina La-Vis and Valle di Cembra, sustainability isn’t a trend: it’s how we’ve worked for generations. Our mountain vineyards in Trentino demand respect for the land, and our 400 wine-grower partners share our commitment to protecting this unique alpine environment for future generations.

Mountain Viticulture: Naturally Sustainable

Our vineyards lie between 250 and 550 meters above sea level in the Trentino Alps. This challenging terrain naturally limits yields, encourages biodiversity, and requires thoughtful, low-impact farming practices.

Trentino’s Rigorous Sustainability Protocol

We follow the Integrated Production System Protocol of the Autonomous Province of Trentino (SQNPI), one of Europe’s strictest sustainable viticulture frameworks. This isn’t self-regulation: it’s a comprehensive system with government oversight, scientific backing, and mandatory third-party verification.

Every bottle from Cantina La-Vis represents a commitment: to quality that doesn’t cost the earth, to communities that thrive alongside nature, to a landscape that will inspire for centuries to come.
