Since 2004, Cantina La-Vis has been committed to producing wines that combine traditional mountain viticulture with rigorous quality certifications. Our certifications guarantee food safety, environmental sustainability, and superior quality to importers, distributors, and wine lovers worldwide.

BRC and IFS Food Safety Certifications

BRC (British Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Featured Standards) are the gold standard certifications required by major European retailers and distributors. These ensure that our wines meet strict food safety and quality requirements for the major international retail chains.

Our BRC and IFS certifications confirm that Cantina La-Vis:

  • Implements comprehensive food safety systems (HACCP) at every production stage
  • Maintains rigorous quality management with documented procedures and controls

SQNPI Integrated Production Certification

Since 2017, all Cantina La-Vis and Valle di Cembra bottled wines carry SQNPI certification. This means every bottle represents wine produced in full harmony with our mountain environment and the passionate winemakers who cultivate our vineyards.

Our SQNPI practices have significantly reduced synthetic product use while maintaining exceptional wine quality and protecting the centuries-old vine-laden landscapes of Trentino.

Developed in partnership with the Trentino Wine Protection Consortium, the Italian Ministry of Agricultural Policies, and the E. Mach Foundation, our SQNPI certification guarantees:

  • Advanced monitoring systems to assess vine health and minimize treatments
  • Prioritization of organic, biotechnological, and agronomic methods over chemicals
  • Reduced use of synthetic phytosanitary products
  • Protection of biodiversity through techniques like sexual confusion for pest control
  • Soil biological fertility maintenance
